It pays to hire trainable individuals with the right attitude. It is much easier to train a positive person who’s open to learning and who shares your values than it is to modify someone’s default attitude and disposition.
So Being a positive outgoing individual with the right attitude to learn is all it takes.
Our staff members range from 16-66 years old and come from all walks of life!
The ASA gift shops has a selection of fun merchandise ranging from plush toys to the very popular light up wands and swords, along with helium balloons and light up balloons. Being an ASA retail attendant you need to be fast moving as it can be busy at times especially at the end of a session when the crowds leave and they want to grab some items before they go.
The Gift shop needs to be kept clean and tidy and all merchandise must be well stocked.
No rubbish should be visual
All baskets that hold the light ups should be full with at least one wand with the lights turned on.
The plush toys are strung from the chains in groups of 3 around the chain, when items are sold they should be taken from the bottom.
In busy times one person should be at the register to put through the sales and all other shop attendants out the front to greet the patrons and serve the products.
At the end of the session, the shop should be clean and tidied, restocked and left ready to open in the next session.
Please Note: As per the covid-19 safe plan you must use the disinfectant spray on all high touch surface areas after every session including the register and EFTPOS machine. You must ensure the queue lines are maintained with 1.5 metres between family groups.
